right now......

Right now i am working on another hat but i am not putting progress pics up because it is a surprise but i will put them up next month and i am also going to be working on the second legwarmer try, i will put up progress pics while doing that....i am also trying to learn the pattern for a R2D2 hat for my son once i figure that out i will be working on that and will put up pics as i go along.....

Flared Legwarmer

So I love my pants with a little bit of flare at the bottom.....hate anything tight around the ankle......love leg warmers but almost never wear them cause they are not flared....came across this pattern by Beth Nouveau for perfectly flared legwarmers i had to have them (and i like the yarn she did them in) so i spent 4 days learning how to use DPNs then 2-3 weeks making 1 leg warmer and it did not fit i was so sad.....i am going to try again with a slightly higher number of stitches to hopefully make them slightly bigger...lol but here is the one that i made that was slightly too small...

John Deere Hat

Ok so i set out to make my hubby a John Deere hat it is not as perfect as i would like it to be, but for my first hat I think it came out pretty good I need to learn how to do something different on this....i can explain in words what it is but there is like gaps between the green and yellow i dont know how to do that, i am making another hat different colors different design but same problem......one day i will get it right.....

Ok i have been soo bad about updating....but i have been busy and i did take pics so i am about to update some things i have been up too. :)

Finished Sons Blankie

Ok so i finished the blankie, I did it last week i have just been really bad about updating lately.....so it is not very big cause it is not for covering up with i just did it in a double crochet stich through out the whole thing......but here it is

I had made it to replace the one he had which was old and falling apart so this next pic is the new one along with the old one

so now that, that is done it is time to move on to the next one :) next up is I think going to be a John Deere hat for the hubby :)

Sons Blankie Update

ok so my son decided he didnt like what i was doing for his blankie and wanted it different......so i unstitched it all and re-started it just done in a double crochet instead of a pattern.....so here is the rework

Sons Blankie

ok so now on to the next project....my sons blankie....it is more of a Linus thing than a blanket....I found a pattern from Caron for a 1 skein baby blanket, and i spent 4 days with a ball of scrap yarn and a needle trying to learn to do the patteren this is my first pattern i have tried.....i still dont think i got it but i like what i am doing......

i hoped this pic would show about how wide it is going to be....

the yarn i am using is red heart super saver shaded dusk worsted meduim 4 here it is....

i dont think this one will take as long as my hubby's blankie took to make so we will see i guess....i will update again soon :)
